Mission Statement
To
provide a private recreation area where Christian principles are
honored for Grayson Baptist Association Churches, other Christian
and/or non-profit groups.
Important: We operate the Grayson Recreation Area on a
COST basis. All fees reflect cost only. There is NO
profit in our fee structure.

Dorm
4 Bedrooms (two on each side) -
Sleeps a total of 28

1 has 4 twin beds
Kitchen and meeting room in the
middle
Kitchen is equipped with appliances, but no cooking utensils

The
Cabins are named "Faith" and "Hope"
Purpose: The Cabins were built
primarily for Ministers and they will be given priority in
scheduling. This includes any Southern Baptist minister, active or
retired. Grayson Baptist Association desires to make these cabins
available to our GBA Church Members as much as possible. They
were built with Kingdom money and by Kingdom volunteers and we want to
be good stewards of what the Lord has given!
Minister's Rates:
- In crisis situations, no charge
- Other ministerial uses, $16.00 per
night
Non-Ministerial Rates:
How are the cabins furnished?
Twin beds, futon couch, refrigerator,
microwave, electric skillet, dishes, silverware, and coffee maker,
table/chairs and an easy chair.
What Will I need to Bring?
Twin sheets, pillow cases and towels
What are Check-in and Check-out
times?
All users may check in at noon and
be out by noon

Policies
1. Facilities MUST be scheduled
through the Association office. Reservations cannot be made more than
90 days in advance. All reservations will require a 50%
non-refundable deposit for confirmation.
2. The pavilion may be scheduled by any
group of ten or more, but groups from Grayson Association churches
will be given preference up to thirty (30) days prior to any date.
This means that up to thirty (30) days before a date, a church group
may "bump" or be given precedence over an individual family group.
3. NO OFF-ROAD VEHICLES ALLOWED.
PLEASE NOTE: The operation of any vehicle off authorized roadways
is prohibited. This includes unlicensed as well as licensed vehicles
and drivers (golf carts, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, etc.). The
person responsible for reserving the recreation area through the
association office must see that these rules are observed. The Army
Corps of Engineers of Lake Texoma have requested that local and state
authorities assist in enforcing these laws regarding public roads in
our lease area.
4. Swim at your own risk. No
lifeguards provided.
5. No alcoholic beverages allowed on
premises.
6. Speed limit 5 MPH inside camp
ground.
7. No cutting of trees (dead or
alive). Build fires in fire rings only.
8. No firearms or fireworks allowed on
camp grounds.
9. Pets MUST be on a leash.
10. When leaving, please insure:
- All faucets are off.
- Trash is placed in dumpster.
- Building is locked.
- Gate is locked.
11.
Mission Service Corp Volunteer
has authority to enforce these regulations.

Dormitory:
- GBA churches (overnight) - $8.50 per
person, minimum $170
- GBA churches (day use) - $4.75 per
person, minimum $57
- Other groups - $13 per person,
minimum $260
