Transitions are inevitable in the life of a church. Relocation,
hiring new staff positions, filling staff positions, building
programs, adding multiple services, these are all examples of
transitions that churches frequently experience. The GBA offers
several services to assist your church as you go through periods of
change.

General Consulting—Sometimes it is helpful to
brainstorm ideas with an outside source. The GBA is available to
assist your church in working through the process of transition.

Search Committees—We will meet with your
committee to help them get organized and understand the unique
process of calling ministerial staff. We are also available to
assist the committee throughout the process as questions and needs
arise.

Pulpit Supply and Interim Ministers—The
GBA maintains a list of area ministers who are available for pulpit
supply and/or interim ministry.

Staff Compensation—Clergy salary packages can
be quite confusing. Fortunately, there are several good resources
we can direct you to in order to make the compensation process as
smooth as possible.

Resume services—The GBA keeps a file of
resumes from ministers who have expressed interest in the area. We
can also direct you to several websites, schools, etc. to post your
ministry opportunity.

Job Descriptions—The GBA can work with your
church to develop job descriptions that fit the unique needs of your
church.
