For generations, the GBA Campground at Lake Texoma has provided a place for churches, students, families, and ministry groups to get away, gather together, and grow in their faith.

But after years of faithful use, our dormitory is ready for some much-needed attention.

As we look toward the future of the campground, we want to take what God has already entrusted to us and make it a welcoming, functional, and refreshed space that can serve our churches for years to come.

🛠️ The Renovation Vision

Our goal is to completely refresh the existing dormitory while preserving its ability to provide simple, affordable group lodging for our Association churches and ministry partners.

The renovation will focus on improving the comfort, appearance, functionality, and long-term durability of the facility.

When complete, the dormitory will provide a clean, welcoming place for groups to stay while participating in:

• Church retreats

• Student and youth events

• Mission trips

• Leadership retreats

• Ministry training

• Family and church gatherings

• Camps and special events

A Better Space for Ministry

The goal isn’t to create a luxury retreat.

It’s to create a quality ministry space—one that is clean, comfortable, practical, and ready to serve.

A renovated dormitory will allow churches to bring groups to Lake Texoma without the expense of hotels or commercial retreat facilities. It will also give our Association greater flexibility to host students, missionaries, ministry teams, pastors, and church leaders throughout the year.

Every improvement helps us make the campground more useful to the churches that own and support it.

Investing in What God Has Already Given Us

We believe this renovation is about more than updating a building.

It’s an investment in hospitality, ministry, and the next generation.

The GBA Campground is a resource shared by more than 60 churches across our Association. Rather than allowing these facilities to simply age, we have an opportunity to steward them well and prepare them for another generation of ministry.

Together, we can breathe new life into this property and create a place where churches can Rest • Connect • Renew.
