Why the Annual Church Profile (ACP) Matters
Each year, we ask our GBA churches to complete the Annual Church Profile (ACP). This profile is more than just a collection of statistics, it’s a way for us to celebrate God’s work, learn together, and strengthen our collective mission.
What is the ACP?
The ACP is a simple yearly report of your church’s key ministry data, things like attendance, baptisms, professions of faith, and giving.
Why do we collect it?
-
To Celebrate God’s Work – Highlight baptisms, professions of faith, and ministry impact across Grayson County.
-
To Keep Accurate Records – The data is uploaded by our Association to the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) to maintain up-to-date church information.
-
To See the Big Picture – Together, these reports show how God is moving across the State of Texas and provide valuable ministry trends.
-
To Solidify Representation – Your Church Profile determines the number of messengers your church can send to local, state and national meetings.
-
For Our Association Directory – Your church’s information is shared in our Annual GBA Directory with other contact information being updated for our Association annual meeting.
By completing the ACP, your church helps preserve a record of God’s work today, while equipping us to do more, together in the future.
