Ministry Supply Application
Whether you’re a retired pastor, area missionary, or someone called to serve, we invite you to join our Pulpit/Ministry Supply list. If you’re available to preach, lead worship, conduct revivals, or serve in interim roles, local churches in our association may need your help.
Please note that our Pulpit Supply List is exclusively available to serve the churches of the Grayson Baptist Association. To maintain doctrinal unity, integrity in leadership, and the trust of our churches, all individuals wishing to be included must meet the following criteria:
1. Doctrinal Alignment:
Must affirm beliefs that are in accordance with the biblical convictions and theological positions held by the Grayson Baptist Association, in line with the Baptist Faith & Message (2000).
2. SBC / Associational Connection:
Applicants must be an active member of a Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) church that is affiliated with the Grayson Baptist Association. This ensures alignment with SBC doctrine, polity, and cooperative mission.
3. Lifestyle & Integrity:
Must maintain a lifestyle that reflects the character of Christ and is consistent with the moral and ethical standards expected of those representing our association in local churches.
4. Ministry Screening:
Applicants must consent to any required ministry screening process conducted by the Grayson Baptist Association or its member churches, including a criminal background check, and participate in an interview with Grayson Baptist Association leadership before being approved for inclusion on the Pulpit/Ministry Supply List.
Failure to uphold these expectations may result in removal from the Pulpit/Ministry Supply List at the discretion of Grayson Baptist Association leadership.
Because we take seriously the responsibility of recommending trusted ministry leaders to our churches, all approved applicants will be reviewed annually to ensure their information remains current and that they continue to meet these qualifications
