The Future of Associational Student Ministry in Grayson County

For years, Student Ministry leaders in Grayson County have gathered to dream, pray, and serve together. What began as a vision to unite students, serve our community, and engage the lost has evolved into county-wide projects like D-Now weekends, SAW You at the Pole worship rallies, and fun opportunities that show students they are not alone. A look at over a decade of Grayson County JOINT Student Ministry projects is astounding.

Today, we believe the future of Student Ministry in Grayson County is even brighter. As we enter a new season of leadership in the Grayson Baptist Association, we want to create a NEW Network that will represent a culture of collaboration and community, where student ministers (both full-time & volunteer) can share victories, resources, trials, and vision. Together, we can accomplish what no single church could do alone.
A NEW Strategic Student Ministry Network
Through the GBA, this "revitalized" auxiliary ministry team will move forward in two primary ways.
Student Ministry Network Meetings (Large Group) — Quarterly meetings for fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and resource-sharing. The Quarterly meeting times will be:
Jan 15th 2026
April 16th 2026
August 6th 2026
October 15th 2026
Project Task Force (Core Team) — A smaller leadership group that meets as needed to plan and carry out county-wide projects such as D-Now, See You at the Pole, and other joint outreach efforts. This team provides vision, coordination, and support to ensure projects are impactful and effective.

Resources for the Next Meeting: What We Use for What We Do
Every ministry utilizes tools that make ministry better, whether it’s websites for tech gear, graphics apps, or favorite books. To make collaboration even stronger, we’re building a shared library of practical resources. Looking Ahead
In 2026, our Network plans to continue county-wide ministry efforts with D-Now, SYATP, and other gatherings. We’re also developing exclusive GBA tools for student ministries that will be found for members on our GBA website.
The future of Student Ministry in Grayson County depends on leaders coming together, dreaming together, and serving together. Let us be ONE for the sake of students, for the sake of the Gospel, and for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
