We are honored to welcome Dr. Bart Barber as the featured speaker for the 2026 Grayson Baptist Association Annual Meeting.

Dr. Barber serves as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Farmersville, Texas, where he has faithfully served the local church for more than two decades. A longtime Texas Baptist pastor and leader, he is passionate about biblical preaching, the health and mission of the local church, and Southern Baptists working together to advance the Gospel.
​
Dr. Barber served two terms as President of the Southern Baptist Convention from 2022–2024, representing Southern Baptist churches across the nation and helping lead the Convention during a significant season in its life.
He has also served Southern Baptists in numerous other leadership capacities, including as Chairman of the SBC Committee on Resolutions.
​
A student of Baptist history and a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Barber brings the heart of a local-church pastor together with years of experience serving the broader Southern Baptist family.
